From North Dakota, however Brook grew up in Los Angeles. Her Family (Aunt) Veda Watson Somerville and husband John Somerville built the famous Hotel Somerville on Central Avenue which later became the Dunbar Hotel. Brook's roots are in Los Angeles for many reason and her families main alma mater is USC. Although Filmmaker, Actress, Author, Poet, Susan Brook Parker lives her vision as a creative spiritual being. Even as a child, Brook found herself always turning to her handy pen and pad journaling ideas, thoughts and fantasies. She has an extensive background in theater and has come a long way since her days living in North Dakota, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She’s always held show business and performing close to her heart, which lead her to stay in the‘City of Stars’, Hollywood, California.

This young passionate woman has guest starred on many television programs such as: JAG, Stargate SG-1, Team Night Rider, Kindred/Embraced and Brisco County. She’s had recurring roles on shows such as: High Incident and Sirens to name a few. Brook can be also be seen in feature films such as; Joel Schoenfeld’s ‘Oddman’, Michael Shoob’s ‘Driven’, Katherine Bigelow’s ‘Strange Days’ with Angela Bassett, Amy Goldstein’s ‘The Silencer’ and has most recently completed a starring role in a film shot in Israel "The Last Warrior."

Brook’s talents as a writer moved her to author and publish a passionate, touching book entitled, ‘To Soar Without Leaving the Ground.’ It is a book of hope & victory, with magnificent photographs depicting each expression. It has received rave reviews from prominent people in the industry:
